Amelia Island Sunset

My next Chastain class was supposed to begin on September 12, but Hurricane Irma had different plans for us. So my "Painting Photographs" class kicked off on September 19. Several years ago we went to Amelia Island, and I snapped a really cool pic of the sunset. Since I've never painted water before, and I've never painted a sunset before, I figured why not -- let's give it a shot. I'll keep adding the photos as the painting evolves.
